The Friendly Society

The Friendly Society, now in its 84th year at the Congregational Church in Needham, has an important mission in our church. It provides an opportunity throughout the year for women to gather for work, learning, friendship and fellowship in a spiritual setting. Fundraising is also an important part of Friendly and we work to earn funds for our church, our community and for outreach to human service organizations in Boston. In addition, Friendly provides the essentials for a Happy Birthday Party for approximately 10 students each year at the Walker School in Needham.
