Streamline Your Pledge
Submitted by revsusan on April 18, 2007 - 2:27pm.Pledging takes some time and thought. When I make a pledge I really think about what the church means to me and what statement I want to make about the importance of God among my priorities. Jesus was clear in his understanding that our finances reflect our values. So when I make my pledge I try to think about making it enough of a commitment to mean something. I also want this commitment to be enough of my budget that I feel good about it.

Church Stories
The Stories of The Congregational Church of Needham
As part of our church's celebration of our 150th anniversary one of our goals is to build deeper friendships in our congregation, and really get to know one another. This anniversary is so much more than a birthday party. It is time to remember the past, celebrate the present, and envision the future of our church. One way to celebrate the present is to recognize the rich diversity of people who belong to this church and believe in our mission as a people of faith. Part of sharing in a covenant community like ours is sharing our stories and listening to one another. We have invited members of our church to speak about how they found our church and why they belong to this congregation and believe in our mission.
